Following the success of our recent call for citizen science projects, we are seeking mentors to lend their expertise, guidance, and encouragement to the forthcoming group of CSIs as part of our 2024 IMPETUS Accelerator program!
Out of the 225 applications received, we will select 45 projects for our 2024 accelerator. These projects will benefit from financial backing, training, and mentorship to advance their research and execute citizen science endeavours.
We are currently pursuing seasoned citizen science practitioners who can counsel the projects from May 2024 to February 2025 as mentors. Project assignments will be based on availability, areas of expertise, and project requirements. Each mentorship commitment entails a minimum of 15 hours and offers compensation of 900 euros per project.
