On Thursday, 19 June 2025, a Cluster Event will be held to showcase the vital role of citizen science and public engagement in shaping evidence-based policymaking within the European Research Area (REA).
Organised by the European Research Executive Agency (REA) in collaboration with the EU-funded projects IMPETUS and European Citizen Science (ECS), this hybrid event will convene researchers, policymakers, and innovators to showcase successful citizen science strategies, highlight best practices in public engagement, discuss policy recommendations for future frameworks and announce the winners of the 2025 EU Prize for Citizen Science.
The event will feature keynote speeches, roundtable discussions, project pitches and networking opportunities.
