As part of our communications actions, IMPETUS represented by its coordinator Gefion Thuermer, took part in the Panel Discussion “The future of citizen science”, during the Open Science Conference hosted by the CPN, Centre for the Promotion of Science, in Belgrade, Serbia.
The panel discussed CS’s opportunities to science and society and shed light on what to consider when starting a new CS initiative, and. learnings from STEP Change project and NEWSERA’s #CitSciComm Labs
It also informed about upcoming possibilities with the calls in the IMPETUS project, which aim to open the door for new stakeholders wanting to try out developing citizen science projects. It illustrated experiences from running initiatives funded in the frame of the STEP CHANGE project. More information soon to come!
